John Deere Classic
TPC Deere Run
Par 71 – 7,268 yds
Bentgrass Greens, Slow
Welcome to a scoring fest! In what has been a run of weak fields, this one takes the cake! Most of the world’s top golfers are already over in Europe playing the Scottish Open or prepping for The Open in other ways. Some have stayed behind by choice and some not, but here we are – TPC Deere Run. It’s a par 71 so there will be three P5s to attack and overall it’s an easy course with the winner almost always approaching -20 and lower. Being that it’s such an easy course it could be hard to pin-point who has a clear advantage. I will be focusing on wedge play and those who have been giving themselves a lot of birdie chances of late – good putters would be another plus.

**This is a scary list with Kraft/List but went heavy up top and took some deep shots.
Last Week Recap:
Another week in the black for my top LU. I played it in the $100 3-Max this week, and took down 7th place. Overall, I was happy with the LU and my biggest dilemma before lock was playing Nick Taylor or Chad Campbell, and both ended up finishing T9. I was hoping for a better outcome from CH3, especially after he flashed last week but again, hard to complain about a 7th place finish. After last week, I mentioned I wasn’t overly comfortable playing Xander in my top LU but the field dictated the play this week and his consistency lead me back to him and it paid off! X-Man came through for me even after I doubted him – I’m thankful.
