Recap of Quicken Loans National:
This LU got off to an awful start and there was no recovery. It was a lost cause early on and ended my streak of cashing in the $100/$150/$300 since The Players. It was bound to happen, and I didn’t have the greatest feeling about last week if you recall. I played lighter overall so it didn’t hurt me that much. Bankroll management! I’m sure you hear people preach it all the time but if you truly want to attempt to make steady profits doing this, BR management is a must (If you’re just chasing the big check, then ignore my responsibility and do you!).
I will say, this is the 3rd time I recall this season that before a tournament started I “wasn’t feeling it” – and I struggled to cash in all of those. Just keep that in mind going forward! I’m always upfront about how I’m feeling each week, and post a lot of that on twitter as well (follow me @FantasyJesusDFS) and on the podcast. I do this for free so I have zero reason to hide or lie about what’s going on each week, not to mention I post these recaps as well.
Below is my pretty s*** LU from last week. Looking back, I’m not overly thrilled about a couple of guys I played in this top LU. Most weeks I wouldn’t think about rostering Herman, Kim, or Xander in my top LU (BUT THIS WEEK I MIGHT! HA!). This weak field lead me to take some chances on high upside guys that just didn’t pan out. Xander at least made the cut, but I still don’t feel great about having played him.
