As usual, these are the golfers I will be targeting in my 3-5 GPP LUs. Depending on price, there is potential some won’t get used but this list is comprised of golfers I would not be afraid of using. Sometimes due to salary it just doesn’t always work out getting them in depending how many lineups I actually make.
Last week I had some duds/studs and it was my first losing week overall of the 2016 season. I cashed in 1 of 4 lineups. Draftkings switched their $27 GPP down to a $20 entry fee with 14,000+ entrants instead of the usual 8,500. I’m not a fan of this, but again this week it’s a $20 entry. I guess they are preparing people for the $20 milli maker for the Masters.
As you will see from my list, there isn’t much at the bottom that really intices me this week; which sucks because there are a lot of guys in the middle-middle upper that I’d love to play but probably won’t be able to fit in due to the limited number of lineups I will make.
You will also notice that I’m favoring many euro golfers this week. Like many other people I’ve noticed they tend to do well in the typical windy conditions at PGA National.
R. McIlroy 12.5k — He burned me last week but he’s the top class golfer in the field. Find room for him in at least one or two GPPs. He doesn’t shit the bed too often like last week.
H. Matsuyama 11.3k — He’s playing really, really well right now. Top 3 in SGT2G and Birdies. Fire up.
P. Reed 10.6k
B. Grace 10.3k
K. Kisner 9.9k — One of my favorite plays. If I was playing cash I’d probably start here.
R. Knox 9.7k — Doubtful many will play him at this price, but he’s been class here.
P. Casey 9.5k — Love Casey this week. Solid course history, plays well in euro conditions.
S. Garcia 9.3k
Z. Johnson 8.8k — Not often you get a golfer his caliber at 8.8k. Game fits here, too.
R. Palmer 8.7k
L. Donald 8.6k — He was the first golfer that jumped out at me, and probably others with his course history. I’ll have him in a couple lineups.
G. McDowell 8.4k — Take a flier on him with his course history and he has won this season.
F. Jacobson 8.2k
D. Berger 8.1k — His form has not been good but he sure does like playing in Florida and he has the game to do well here.
J. Dufner 8.0k
E. Grillo 7.7k
W. Wilcox 7.0k
S. Piercy 6.9k
B. Harman 6.9k
B. Martin 6.5k
Z. Blair 6.3k
