Par: 70

Top 70 (+ties) make the cut.

Matt Kuchar – 11.5k

Kuchar has excellent stats leading into this week and well as course history (four straight top 8 finishes). He’s an extremely consistent golfer who doesn’t miss many cuts and would make an excellent GPP and cash game player. He ranked 20th in short P4s last season and 26th in birdie or better %. He’s a strong play this week in the group of top tier salary players.

Will Wilcox – 9.0k

Wilcox has a strong 2015 season and I believe that will carry over into 2016. He’s only played here one other time but he finishes in 8th and has strong stats correlating to a good tournament. He finished 5th in short P4 scoring last season and 17th in birdie or better %. I love his price for somebody who could feasibly win the tournament but he’s much less pricier than the “known names”. Believe me, you will know this kids name by the end of this season.

Jerry Kelly – 7.4k

Distance won’t help as much on this course so you don’t have to worry about that holding back Kelly. There are some longer par 3’s this week that Kelly should continue to excel at like last season and he loves playing this course; this will be his 18th straight visit to this tournament/course. Kelly was also top 50 in strokes gained putting and birdie or better % last season which will help this week.

Pat Perez – 6.5k

I find Perez too cheap this week. His game lines up well with the course this week, finishing 4th in short P4 scoring last season and 18th in birdie or better %. His course history is also solid for somebody with such a low salary, finishing in the top 10 in four of his last 11 trips here (only 2 missed cuts as well). He’s easily my top “punt” option this week to save salary.
