NHL DFS Picks, 12-27-15

NHL Cash Core, December 27th

Johnny Gaudreau – LW – 9.2k

Johnny Hockey is on fire. He has 17 points over the last 10 games, including two hat-tricks. The battle of Alberta should be a solid match up for him as well even though he’s scoring on just about anybody these days. He’s pricey but he’s in line for another big game. For as bad as the Flames started the season they are one a roll now due to their offense finally clicking. They’ve scored 3+ in 7 of 11. Take advantage!

Patrick Sharp – RW – 7.1k

Sharp can produce and playing on a line with Jaime Benn and Tyler Seguin only helps his talent. He has five points over the last three games and hopefully this is the start of his game getting on a roll. He hasn’t been shooting as much lately so hopefully he starts throwing the puck at the net more but he’s a solid option for the price even when he’s not quite at top notch due to his line mates.

Shayne Gostisbehere – D 3.9k

It’s rare that I put defensemen here but I do love playing cheap guys on the blueline and Gostisbehere is another player that FanDuel has choosen to ignore. He’s not tearing up stat sheets but he’s been producing enough lately to warrnt being played simply due to his price. He has 8 points in 10 games and is 3.9k – that’s a steal for a defensemen.

Leon Draisaitl – C – 3.8k

Calgary’s offense has been on fire but they also continue to give up a fair amount of goals. FanDuel has still yet to realize that Draisaitl plays on the Oilers top line and PP unit and that he continues to pile up points. He has 12 points over the last 10 games and he’s been a consistent playmaker since arriving in Edmonton. He’s far too cheap – play him.
