NHL Cash Core, December 22nd
Patrick Kane – RW – 8.7k
Kane continues to roll and continues to be drastically underpriced. He’s not even the top priced RW on today’s slate! He now has at least one point in 29 of 30 games and has 50 points on the season (in 35 games). You can get the league leader in points for 8.7k – you should probably do that! Not a difficult pick for me.
Tyler Seguin – C – 8.7k
Who’s in second place behind Kane in points? That would be Mr. Seguin – also listed at 8.7k. I mean, if FanDuel is going to keep low balling these guys you should keep playing them. Guys with this much talent are match up proof. You don’t score this many point just by beating up the cupcakes. Seguin consistently scores/assists and he’s a steal for under 9k.
Mike Hoffman – LW – 7.3k
Hoffman continues to have a stellar sophomore campaign, sitting at 5th in goals scored in the league. He has 10 points in his L10 games, including six goals. His minutes have been a little up and down but he typically plays closer to 20 than 15 and he’s continuing to throw close to 4 shots on net/game. He’s on the Sens top line and is now playing point man on the 2nd PP Unit, giving him more touches on the power play.
Adam Henrique – C – 4.1k
The first three guys were fairly expensive so Henrique will help you save some money. He continues to center the Devils top line and top PP Unit. There are not many players in the league who are on both top units and priced so low which makes Henrique a great value play most nights. He hasn’t had a point in three games but he had seven points in the seven game prior to this mini cold streak. Detroit is playing some solid hockey but they still give up a fair amount of goals. On a deep slate, Henrique is a solid value play allowing you to spend up elsewhere.
