NBA DFS Picks, 12-21-15

I have never advertised for other sites in my posts but I felt the need to do this for Fantasy Labs. If you’re a busy person and you find it hard to get the time you need to study DFS on a daily basis than Fantasy Labs is exactly what you’re looking for. They have all of the key stats in one easy to read place and you can even create your own models (I use this feature and love it)! Like I said, I have never put my name on a product but Fantasy Labs is worth it. You can create optimized LUs using your own models or if you prefer, DFS Pros have created base models for you that you can use to create your perfect LU. If you’re skeptical you can try out their three day trial before fully committing and you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you’re going to pay for a service you won’t be able to find many better than Fantasy Labs. I wouldn’t recommend anything I didn’t believe in. I use their site to do the base of my research and create my own models and I believe it can help you too. If you’re interested, click the banner at the top of this article and enjoy!

NBA Cash Core, 12-21-15

Russell Westbrook – PG – 10.2k

Westy has had two unusually low scoring games in recent outings and it’s caused his priced to come down considerably from where it typically is. He has a season usage of 35% and he should see at least 30% tonight and close to 35 minutes. He has incredible upside as everybody knows and a high floor. His salary gives him an implied total of 41 FPs but I think he’ll be closer to 50 tonight.

Blake Griffin – PF – 9.2k

I really like Griffin at this price tonight against the Thunder who give up 2.6 more points than expected to PFs. Although he hasn’t had a huge game lately, he’s been extremely consistent. He has a high usage rate (26%), plays a lot of minutes, and is efficient with his touches. It’s a great match up in what should be a high scoring game and like Westbrook his salary is lower than it typically averages. Buy low and reap the rewards!

Kent Bazemore – SG – 5.5k

The Baze was actually the first player I locked into my lineups today. Portland has given up 2.8 more points than expected to opposing SGs and Bazemore is playing great basketball right now. He’s exceeded his expected point value in 7 of 10 and his minutes are now above 30 in his L5 games. His implied point total is 20 and I see no reason he can’t obtain that and more tonight. He’s been averaging closer to 25 FP of late and that’s about what I expect again tonight.

Omri Casspi – SF – 5.0k

Casspi’s price is still far too low. No, he’s not a stud go-to guy but he’s exceeded expectations in 8 of 10 nearly 35+ minutes every game! His usage isn’t that high (16%) but I can overlook that due to his price and his ability to fill up the stat sheet with more than just scoring. His implied score is 18.5 FP and he’s gone over 30 FP in three of his L5. He’s a steal at the current price and you should lock him in. Expect him to be highly owned in cash games tonight.
