NBA DFS Picks, 12-14-15
NBA Cash Core, December 14th
James Harden – SG – 10.7k
Harden only played 31 minutes last game but that’s because the Rockets destroyed the Lakers. It’s a decent match up against Denver in what is projected to be the second highest scoring game of the night. Not many players have a ceiling of 60 and a floor in the 30’s and given the match up Harden could reach 50+ tonight. As I said, he averages closer to 38 min/gm and has a usage of 33%.
Damian Lillard – PG – 9.2k
The Pelicans have been awful defending PGs all season and Lillard is one of the better offensive PGs in the league. This game may be the highest scoring on the night and Lillard plays 38 min/gm and has a usage of 31%. Lillard is my top rated PG for the night. Wall is a tad more expensive and has a much weaker match up. I expect a lot of people to be on Wall due to his recent success but I think Lillard will/can score just as much as Wall tonight.
Jameer Nelson – PG – 4.2k
Mudiay is out tonight so Jameer will get another start and a fair amount of minutes for Denver. It will be a tougher match up against Beverley but Nelson only needs 18.5 FP to hit value which shouldn’t be asking too much in a high scoring game for a starting PG.
Matt Barnes – SF – 4.1k
Like Jameer, Barnes is a low salaried player with decent upside getting another start. Matt had a great game in his first start from the bench against Miami and if he gets 30+ minutes again I see no reason he can’t hit value. Washington has been awful guarding opposing SFs this season giving up 15% more points than average and with Barnes only needing 18.5 for value, I expect a solid return.
