NHL DFS Picks, 12-8-15

NHL Cash Core, December 8th

It appears I was feeling the red/black jersey core tonight.

Patrick Kane – RW – 8.3k

Really? He’s still only 8.3k? I don’t need to say anything here. Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’re fully aware of Kane’s 22 game point streak. I will keep playing him in any match up until his price rises. This is insane for FanDuel to keep him this low. If you’re not rostering him in your cash games just stop playing them.

Mike Hoffman – LW – 6.8k

Hoffman has been on a tear with 14 points in his L10 games, including 10 goals. He had a slow start to the season but he’s returning to the player we saw at the end of last year. His chemistry on the top line with Turris/Stone is great and they also play together on the top PP Unit. This type of production for less than 7k is outstanding.

Mark Stone – RW – 4.9k

I’ll be pairing Stone with his PP Unit man, Hoffman. Stone has eight points over his L10 games and can benefit from the hot play of Hoffman and the first PP Unit. This line has been great for me in the past when they were all together so although Stone is on the 2nd line I like that he’s still on the 1PP Unit with them. They are hot once again. Time to take advantage!

Adam Henrique – C – 4.1k

Who would’ve guessed the Devils would be playing winning hockey? They’re only an average scoring team but much of that production comes from the top line. Henrique has nine points in the L10 and plays on that top line and top PP Unit. He’s played 20+ minutes in nine straight games, including important PP time. Honestly, for a team’s top goal scorer it’s hard to beat 4.1k, even though Toronto has been playing much better hockey of late.
