NBA DFS Picks, 11-30-15
NBA Cash Core, November 30th
Andre Drummond – C – 9.3k (If D. Howard does not play, Capela makes an excellent value play at C)
After his blazing start to the season Andre has cooled down some but he will have a nice match up tonight against the Rockets. Some will tell you Drummond is a GPP only guy right now due to inconsistency lately but I have no problem using him in cash at his current price tonight. Detroit is projected to score 101 points and Drummond has a usage of 25% and he’s averaging 35 min/gm this season. Even his bad games right now are producing 30 FP, and his ceiling is mid 60’s – I think he’s for 40-45 tonight.
Kawhi Leonard – SF – 9.1k
It’s not pegged to be a high scoring game but it is a positive match up for Leonard, who happens to be the man for the Spurs. The Bulls aren’t a fast paced team but Kawhi’s usage is 24% and the Bulls have struggled with opposing SF’s all season. Durant will garner a lot of attention at SF tonight but I’ll be saving $1400 by going with Leonard who has 50 fantasy point potential tonight.
Dirk Nowitzki – PF – 6.5k
Yeah, that’s right, old man river is on the list. Dirk does not have a high ceiling, or really a ceiling at all, but you can just about lock him in for 30 points. He’s reached between 30 and 33 FP in six of his last seven games and has a great match up tonight against the Kings in a game with the highest O/U on the board at 213. The Kings have been giving up 14% more points than league average to PFs so you should feel good about penciling in 30 FP for Dirk tonight at a decent price.
Patrick Beverley – PG – 3.6k
Make sure he’s starting (he has last 2 games) and if he is, Patrick is great value. Not often can you get a starting PG who will get between 30-35 minutes. Beverley isn’t known for his offense but he can fill up the stat sheet enough to easily exceed value at his price. He only needs 16 points for 4.5x value and he’s scored 20 and 22 his last two starts with over 30 minutes. He isn’t a guy to expect 40 from but 25 isn’t out of the question and that salary savings allows you to spend up for a couple studs on tonights slate.
