Daily Fantasy NBA Cash Core, 6:00PM Slate
It’s a bit of a crappy four game slate so I’ll be treading light today in the amount of cash games I am playing. Because I’m playing less I’ll have a bit of a riskier lineup than usual trying to get the most upper tier talent I can on my roster, a bit of a studs/duds for cash. Below is the core I’ll be working with. Pricing info is from FanDuel.
Russell Westbrook 11.4k
Don’t try and get cute. Even if you don’t really care to play him it’s tough to fade on a slate where he will be highly owned. If he goes off you could be buried under 65% of teams in cash. OKC/BOS has the highest O/U on the card, the Thunder are projected for 108 and Westbrook’s usage is 35 and that is probably even higher without Durant. He started last game out awful and ended with his 2nd triple double in two straight games. Don’t be surprised if he has another tonight.
Rajon Rondo 7.5k
Speaking of triple doubles, you should probably play Rondo as well. He also has back to back trip-dubs, and three in his last four games. His price on FanDuel is criminally low now that he’s back to playing like his old self. He’s facing a Raptors team that is giving up 3% more points to PGs than league average and Rondo has averaged 38 FP at home, and 40 FP with one day of rest. You can’t beat his production for the price, don’t punt at PG today.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 5.1k
If you’re spending up at PG you will be going cheap somewhere else and SG is a great place to do that. Yes, KCP has been inconsistent and he doesn’t have huge upside but he has been getting consistent minutes. You want to target guys who you at least know will have an opportunity to score. KCP has played 35+ minutes in every game this season and he has a cake match up against the awful Lakers tonight.
Jae Crowder 5.0k
Playing guys from the Celtics can be scary because Stevens is strange with his rotations but there isn’t a lot to pick from tonight and Crowder is another cheap option to target. He’s been averaging close to 30 minutes/game and although he’s been a little inconsistent he has a solid chance to hit value in what should be a high scoring game and he does have 40 point upside. I’m looking to get 25 FP from Crowder and I will be happy.
