Daily Fantasy NBA, November 9th
Below are my core picks for tonight’s GPP tournaments.
Have you watched Lillard play defense lately? You probably haven’t because he doesn’t play defense. For the price, Mudiay is a great play tonight. He has been inconsistent but he is getting close to 30 minutes per game and has 35+ FP upside. The game is projected to be close and one of the higher scoring games of the night; playing Mudiay will save some salary from the super stars.
P.G. is back. Wow, is he back. George is playing damn near 40 minutes per game and he’s making the most of it. Buy in on him now before his price begins to go up. The game itself isn’t projected to be high scoring but the ball goes through PG’s hands for the Pacers on the offense end. He has three straight games of 45+ FP and in a positive match up against Orlando I see no reason for that streak to end.
Andre the Giant is dominating. I wrote this about him a couple days ago and his excellent play has continued. He exploded last night in a gutsy come back by the Pistons throwing up 70 FP on FanDuel. He’s playing north of 35 minutes a game and has a positive match up tonight against the Warriors in what should be a high scoring game. Who is going to defend Andre tonight? Ezeli? I don’t see it. Drummond will soon be in the same price range as Boogie Cousins. Play him while he’s cheap! (If Bogut comes back tonight it would downgrade Drummond slightly on the offensive end, but he’s still have over 20 rebounds in 3 of 4 games and he will score, but Bogut could keep it down).
Bazemore is another great value play tonight. There is a lot of talent at the SG position tonight (which doesn’t often happen) and you can play one of the upper tier guys along with Bazemore. Baze is playing about 30 minutes per game and Minnesota gives up about 5% more points to SGs than the league average. The O/U is above 200 and at 5k price on FD, I don’t think it will be hard for him to score 25+ FP.
