NBA DFS Picks, 10-29-15

Daily Fantasy Basketball, October 29th

There will be slim pickings on a three game slate, but below is my core for tournaments/GPPs tonight.

FD Points = FanDuel Fantasy Points

1. Chris Paul (PG) – I will not be fading CP3 tonight.  It’s kind of a “pick your poison” tonight between him, Blake, and Carmelo and as you can see from my next pick I went for Paul and Melo.  The offense runs through him and Vegas predicts this will be the highest scoring game of the night, with the Clippers favored by 10.5.  Paul put up 42 FD points in the opener and I expect roughly the same tonight.

2. Carmelo Anthony (SF) – Talk about an underwhelming first game back.  Only 27 FD points but I expect him to shoot more tonight than he did against Milwaukee, and I also expect him to shoot better than 25%. Maybe more people will shy away from him tonight due to this opening effort but on a short day I’ll roster Melo knowing what he’s capable of.

3. Raymond Felton (PG) – If you want to roster two of the three big studs tonight you will need some cheap value plays – insert Raymond Felton.  Again, the DAL/LAC game has the highest total tonight (by a fair margin) and Felton had an outstanding opening game, producing 32 FD Points in 33 minutes of play.  It will be tougher for him facing the Clippers but due to price and minutes he should exceed his value.

4. J.J. Redick (SG) – Another cheap player in the highest projected scoring game.  Redick had a bit of a dud to open the season but he did play 30 minutes. He’s at the back of the line for scoring touches but he can get hot from three which could sky rocket his typical production. With his match up tonight he should get enough playing time to have a chance to hit it big for you.
