NHL DFS Picks, 10/16/15

Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks, 10/16/15

1. Columbus Blue Jackets

Jackets draw the Leafs at home, so they will find themselves in my lineups.  Honestly, you don’t always need to get cute (although the Jackets have been getting lit – you could stack Toronto as well).  I will take a chance on the BJ’s top line finding the back of the net. Johansen is a great scorer and Saad can find the twine as well.  At the moment, Jenner is paired with them but keep your eyes open; that wing position could be changed.

2. Winnipeg Jets

The Jets have scored the second most goals (at the time of writing) in the league and I love Wheeler and Ladd.  If salary permits I’d love to get some Byfuglien exposure on the blue line as well.  It’s a decent match up against Calgary as well who’s given up 4 and 5 goals in a game already this season.  This line can produce and I will have a decent amount of them in my LUs.

3. Detroit Red Wings

The Senators train finally hit a screeching halt; will Detroit follow suit? I hope not.  I didn’t love any other teams tonight (Col/Ana could be high scoring) so I’ll roll with Detroit as they’ve been scoring a lot to start the season and a majority of the production is from the top line. Dylan Larkin is back on FanDuel for this slate and his salary is still only $3500 – insane. Let’s see if the fire continues.

Goalies

If you can start Martin Jones, start Martin Jones.  Jake Allen should be getting the start for the Blues (be sure to check) and he’s not a bad play and I wouldn’t mind starting Howard, who I think will be playing for Detroit. As always, be sure to check which goalies are starting before lineup lock!
