A very successful week one leads us into what should be another great second week. You will notice a few slight changes from the original lineup I posted last week at WR and TE. I was unable to make edits due to being overseas and I made some last second changes to play the Thursday night slate. However, last weeks lineup put up 129 points which was more than enough to cash in every league I was in. The final lineup I used put up 137, so the switches indeed were for the better but either lineup would have cashed. I apologize for this as I’m usually able to update the site before lineup lock. You can see last week’s results below.
He was underwhelming last week but I’m tapping back into the Eagle offense and using Sam Bradford this week. TDs are hard to predict but his usage was through the roof last week throwing the ball 52 times. I expect more than 35 throws this weekend which is great for his price. He also has a high ceiling as the leader of a high powered offense.
Lynch/Hyde is a great RB combo that screams heavy targets and usage. Both played in excess of 75% of their teams snaps last week and should do so again this week. Lynch also gets to face the weak Packers run defense. Both RBs appear to be very safe plays week and have advantageous matchups.
Julio is questionable with a potential tight hamstring but all indications are that he will play. If he doesn’t you can easily swap in OBJ and feel fine. Julio is a monster and his report with Ryan is amazing. Julio should be in line for upwards of 10 targets every game this season and he’s always a red zone threat because of how physical he is. Matthews had a solid week 1 and it is slightly risky to stack a WR/QB in cash games I think it’s fine in this case. Matthews should rack up a lot of targets again and hopefully can find the end zone. Edelmen is a WR who may not often have huge yardage games but he always seems to have 6-8 catches per game. The Bills have a great D-Line and Edelmen should see plenty of check down catches.
When trying to save money at TE, Reed is a great option. DeSean is out for the Redskins and Cousins looked Reeds way early and often against Miami. The Rams will pressure Cousins and he will probably throw to his safety net often again. Great value for targets at only 5.0k.
DST/K are position I always just shave money. The Redskins/Rams game should be low scoring and although they may not put up a lot of points they should get you something. I expect the Saints to score a lot against the Buccs so why not play their kicker hoping to get some cheap PATs and FG opportunities.
