Week 3 College Football DFS Picks

Despite a lackluster performance from my RBs last week I managed to find my way into the money in most of my 50/50s, falling short in a couple (See full team results below).  It was a low scoring afternoon overall, so hopefully I can get back on track with my RBs this week.

Again, this is only for the afternoon slate, targeting cash games!

NCAA Wk3 LUAfter more research I decided against Williams and will instead start Sirk, facing Northwestern.  Yes, NU has a solid defense but I think Sirk will still reach value per his salary because he is a dual threat QB.  He may not drop 30 but I except to see 17-20.  This allowed me to play with my RB/WR with leftover money, as I wasn’t 100% sold at those positions.

I have one stud, Fournette, and Jackson – a very consistent for NU.  Jackson is my favorite RB “value” play facing Duke.  He’s Northwestern’s top offensive option and Duke’s rushing defense isn’t good.  Fournette is a superstar and has had a great start to the season and I don’t see any reason that won’t continue against Auburn.  He is the focal point of LSUs offense and the ball will go through him.  I’m looking for another 30 point outing.

I went expensive at WR paying up for Keevan Lucas and Tajae Sharpe.  Lucas may be the best WR in CFB and Tulsa’s high flying offense will be playing from behind against Oklahoma.  Sharpe is a target machine for UMASS and will also be playing from behind and should have enough targets to get above 100 receiving yards.

TE is a typical punt position for CFB but I have the money to spend up on Higbee (if you want to save money, Price of MSU is a great option).  Higbee is in a high powered offense and receives plenty of targets.  He’s in what should be a shoot out and I look for him to reach towards 15 points.
