NBA DFS Picks, 4-18-15

Only a four game slate, so you’ll need some low owned studs to go off if you want to contend in GPPs – Below are some core players to target in GPP lineups.

Point Guard:
Stephen Curry: If you’re going to spend up tomorrow, taking Curry would be wise.  In four games against the Pelicans this season he has averaged 48 fantasy points.  That’s not quite value for his salary, but it’s definitely a nice floor with a ceiling of 65.
John Wall: I’m going to be spending up at PG, and Wall will be the next target. He’s averaged 40 FPPG against Toronto this season, and he’s scored over 40 FP in 6 of his L10 games.
Michael Carter-Williams: MCW is a guy who Won’t see nearly the ownership as Wall/Curry but still has a nice ceiling, and he’s been fairly consistent of late, scoring of 30 FP in 7 of his L9 games (he was rested in the last game of the season).

Shooting Guard:
Jimmy Butler: Harden will more than likely be the most owned SG, and he has the highest ceiling but I’m targeting Butler.  In four games against Milwaukee this season he’s averaged 40 FP.  That’s outstanding considering his price.  He’s gone over 30 in 9 of his L10, and a couple over 40.
Bradley Beal: Beal always scares me because he’s inconsistent but he has a solid ceiling for his price and in his first meeting against Toronto he put up 40 FP. He’s been playing really well of late and has gone over 30 in 7 of his L10 games.

Small Forward:
Chandler Parsons:  SF is pretty gross today so I’ll be taking a couple chances on Parsons.  He offers one of the highest ceilings at the position today but he can also tank (and he’s coming off a sore knee).  He’s only averaged 25 FP in four meetings against Houston, but in his L10 games he’s scored over 40 points three times, with three others over 30.
Al-Farouq Aminu: He’s super cheap and has gone over 25 FP in 7 of his L10.  This is scraping the bottom of the barrel but he’s a decent punt option on a night where a lot of starters are going to be soaking up minutes.

Power Forward:
Draymond Green: He’s the top option on the board and has averaged 40 FP per game against the Pelicans this season in three contests. With extended minute, Green has a floor of 35 and a ceiling of 55.  Spend up in a couple LUs for him.
Amir Johnson: Amir is another punt option for the simple fact he’ll be getting minutes.  He’s volatile and inconsistent but for how cheap he is, he’s worth a chance so you can fit in Curry or Green.  He’s averaged 25 FP against Washington this season.

Center:
Zaza Pachulia: He should be getting the most minutes for the Bucks but I can’t say for certain. He is extremely risky and volatile because he puts up a lot of 18-25 FP games, but he has a great matchup against Chicago’s interior and his ceiling is in the 40’s.
Andrew Bogut: I wouldn’t advise playing Bogut often, but he actually had pretty good sucess against the Pelicans this season and he would provide salary relief.
