NBA DFS Picks, 4-4-15

Yesterday was a solid day despite lack-luster performances by Reggie Jackson and Markel Brown (poor punt play).  Luckily, Otto Porter balled out of his mind and Boogie decided to drop over 70 for the fourth time in five games. So, let’s get into today’s top GPP Picks/Core plays.

*When referencing fantasy points (FP) scored, the totals are coming from Draftkings

Point Guard:
Kemba Walker – Hopefully his last performance scares some people away. He’s gone over 30 FP in 7 of 10, and he put up 44 FP against Philly in their first meeting.
Elfrid Payton – I feel like I keep ignoring him, despite his recent success. He’s now gone over 40 FP in 7 of 10 and his price is outstanding on FD and DK.
Deron Williams – What can I say? He’s been unbelievable for his price point and the Hawks are a plus-matchup.

Shooting Guard:
DeMar DeRozan – DeMar continues to play his best ball of the season and having Lowry out only increases his usage.  He’s gone 8 of 10 O30 and 4 O40.  He has a high ceiling as well which makes him a great play today.
Khris Middleton – He doesn’t have the best matchup on paper but he’s played well against Orlando this season, averaging 36 FP in two meetings.  He should be low-owned because he’s only topped 30 in 2 of 10 games.
J.J. Redick – He’s not my favorite play today but SG leaves a lot to be desired today.  He’s topped 30 FP in 5 of 10 games and has a high ceiling if he gets hot.  Denver is a plus-matchup.

Small Forward:
Gordon Hayward – He’s probably the top option tonight and he’s averaged 40 FP in two games against Phoenix this season.  He has a nice floor and a high ceiling. 7 of 10 games O30 FP, and 4 O40 FP.
Tobias Harris – I like Harris again tonight.  He’s scored O30 in 7 of 10 and at his price point he has a high floor, even though his ceiling is probably around 45.

Power Forward:
Blake Griffin – He is a STEAL on Draftkings.  I’d play him some on FD too but he’s a must in DK lineups.  Denver is awful against bigs and Blake has averaged 50 FP in two games against Denver and 7 of 10 games have been over 40 FP.
Paul Millsap – Paul is a stable play, as he’s averaged 38 over his L4 games and scored O30 in 8 of his L10.  He’s also averaged 46 FP in two games against Brooklyn.
Marvin Williams – He continues to be a great cheap play, especially with Zeller out.  He’s taking full advantage of his minutes and in two games this seasons against Philly he’s averaged 28 FP.

Center:
Andre Drummond – Although Whiteside was out last game against Miami, Andre torched them and he’s been excellent without Monroe, scoring O50 FP in 5 of his L10. He’s pricey but his ceiling is huge and you can count on him getting at least 35 FP.
Jonas Valanciunas – In one meeting against Boston, he scored 32 FP in 28 minutes and he’s been on a roll for his price, scoring O30 in 6 of 10.  Boston’s interior defense scares nobody and Jonas should be able to reach at least 30 FP.
